Songs

This week one of the tasks set for us was to choose and inspirational/meaningful song. this was a tough division because A: i don't listen to a lot of songs and B: i have a hard time choosing things like for example favorite movies. I decided to choose a slightly nerdy choice but no the less I chose The MineCraft Hunger Games song. I feel its meaningful for some reason or maybe just because I enjoy the song. anyway its basically someone (in MineCraft) who was inthe hunger games and him winning (spoilers). at the bottom of this post is the song. Another reason might be that I enjoy parodies (this was a parody of decisions) and thegame in the song.

PE Minecraft update

Ok so basically pocket edition has an update that added more mobs such as dogs and endermen it also added mob spawners and emeralds! It also added advanced options which basically allows you to have infinite world's and it let's villagers and vvillages  Wow so that's just a quick update of an update so bye

My obsession

on 11/9/2013 I posted a useless blog post on how I don't have an obsession. And I strive to change that with post. In truth I have many obsessions from Mine-Craft to Btd5. If you have no Idea what those thing are this next part is for you.

Mine-Craft is a video game that is all about imagination and building and stuff

Bloons Tower Defence 5 is a tower defence game where you defend your "base" with monkeys that have powers against balloons.

is a TV comedy about a family that has some really crazy kids (crazy isn't the right word but I can't think of a word to describe then)

Sphinx

This week I learned about the sphinx. I learnt that the sphinx was made of limestone NOT sandstone. also I learnt that it was difficult to build in minecraft which is why I studied the sphinx in the first place.

this term we were studying Ancient Egypt and it is actually quite interesting, for example the Egyptians treasured the important organs such as stomach and heart but didn't think that the brain was useful! they would stick a hook up the pharaoh's nose before mummification  and whisk the brain to liquid before draining out the other nose! anyway rm11 and rm12 are building ancient egypt in minecraft and Me and another classmate volunteered to build the sphinx and we needed info to help us build it.

I think I will remember it first of all Ancient Egypt  itself is interesting and the sphinx (in my opinion) is more interesting than the pyramids. I don't really know how I remember things, Its all in the brain I guess and I'm no biologist or therapist or whatever. I hope that I can learn more cool and interesting facts about Egypt this term, Thank you and Bye.

book groups

Today is Thursday, that means book groups. For book group we read books and discuss it after a while. the book my group is reading is JOEY PIGZA by Jack Gantos. it's about a kid who sort of crazy. It all goes well but one of our group is a bit of a pig and eats most of our crisps. I think I gained a lot of experience from the book groups which I also did last year and wouldn't mind doing it again.

book week reflection

Every kid has a book that your parents have probably memorized because you just wanted to read again and again and again.It's that book that's somehow close to your heart even when your older and found it and gave it a go and then finally remembering it and showing it to your mum who then goes into a boring speech about how you loved the book and then slightly changes the subject to how you were young and that tosh.

For me I had several books such a Snow (dr seuss),Hug and Fix-It-Duck. theese were books that seemed to connect. they connected with animals, each  of the books had a lovable animal that amused you. I believe that toddlers absolutely LOVE animals and the fact that millions of kids books include our furry ,feathery or scaly creatures must help.

And that is my conclusion of Kids books and its philosophy.
